Morning prayers

1. I want to thank you with all my heart oh Lord for having woken me up from my sleep. Thank you for watching over me by the night and protecting me from evil and death. I am happy to wake up to this new, beautiful day.


2. Lord, I ask of you today to enlighten my heart and mind so that I may be of service to you and to others that I come across. Guide me to be a light to others and an inspiration to those who need hope. With your love surround me so that I may not fall into temptation.

3. Grant me wisdom so that I may do things according to your holy will and bring your love to those who need it the most. Bless the works of my hand, oh Lord and prosper everything that I do so that I may praise you all day long.

4. Please watch over my family and friends as they begin this new day that have granted as a gift to us all. Help us all to make the best of this day in service and love. May we exemplify you by following on your footsteps of love and everlasting peace. 

5. If I fall due to my doubts, hold me in your loving embrace and help me back onto the right path my Lord. May I praise and glorify you all through the day. In Jesus name, Amen.
